A trial attorney, Ms. Sublett has successfully represented numerous individuals and businesses in resolving court disputes, trials, settlements, administrative hearings and appeals. With a focus on civil litigation and administrative law, Ms. Sublett is committed to her clients' specific needs throughout complex legal proceedings.
Before joining Newman, Comley & Ruth, P.C., Ms. Sublett was a partner at Carson & Coil, P.C., where she developed her extensive practice in professional licensing and complex litigation matters. Ms. Sublett moved to private practice in 2003 after serving in the Governmental Affairs Division of the Missouri Attorney General's Office. As an Assistant Attorney General, Ms. Sublett represented many of Missouri's professional licensing boards including those that regulate doctors, nurses, dentists and many other licensed professionals. She gained extensive experience in administrative law and health-care issues during her service with the Attorney General.
Ms. Sublett graduated from law school with honors in 1999 from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. After law school, Ms. Sublett returned home to Jefferson City where her family resides. Among her civic and volunteer work, Ms. Sublett serves on the Missouri Bar Association's Administrative Law Committee and speaks regularly for state Continuing Legal Education courses. She received recognition from the Missouri Lawyers Weekly in 2007 for one of the Top Defendants' Verdicts of the year.
